JLPT and Washington D.C.
March is the time for cherry blossoms in Japan, and people worldwide are waiting for the results from the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). Every year thousands of people all over the world undergo this difficult exam to have their Japanese language skills certified.
Japan November 2009
Once again I was able to travel with a group of first time travelers to Japan. I always enjoy making new friends and reconnecting with existing friends in Japan. On this trip I mostly traveled to areas that I have already seen but I did see a few new sites. Of course, traveling with new friends is always a treat.

Origami and Childern

The Japanese Culture Society Chairman teaches childern at the Spring Branch Library how to fold origami. Teaching almost 60 kids in two difference sessions was a rewarding challenge.
