Ever since high school I have always been fascinated by the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.   This website is devote of all the cool, fascinating, and some just weird aspects of Japan that I think makes it so great.  The Japan Culture Society (JCS) is devote to exploring the Japanese culture through education and entertainment.   The JCS is currently located in Houston, Texas USA and will be posting articles about Japanese related events in and around Houston.   Articles about the customs, culture, and language are a few examples of the articles that I will be posting.   As I have traveled to Japan many times I will be posting pictures of my trips both new and old to allow people to see the interesting places there are in Japan.  Finally my four long time Japanese related interests (possibly obsessions), are studying the language, traveling to new places in Japan, sampling fine sakes, and watching great anime so I will often be writing about these topics.   I do hope you enjoy this site and if you have any questions or comments please contact me.   Thank you for coming.
